English Garden Streets are a unique blend of streets, squares, and parks. British developers used this form to compensate for a shortage of private gardens in the compact lots around the park. The shared park has tall shade trees and may be defined by wrought iron fences, hedges, or low walls. An open variation has space for parking within the grove of trees (Figure 2.TKTK).
